Kathryn Kueppers, Miss Coon Rapids, is a native of St. Paul, Minnesota,  and is a graduate of Saint Paul College with an  AAS in Culinary Arts. 

 

Currently, she attends Minnesota State University - Mankato, pursing a degree in Family and Consumer Science Education (FACS).

She won the title of Miss Coon Rapids 2019.

 

This was her first title in the Miss America program and was Miss Coon Rapids Outstanding Teen in 2013.

 

Kueppers commented that Coon Rapids has been very welcoming to her and she is impressed how Coon Rapids has a strong community identity

 

In June of 2018 she competed for the title of Miss Minnesota and was First Runner Up; and she was awarded the "Rookie Scholarship" for being the highest scoring first time contestant competing in the Miss Minnesota pageant.

Saturday, June 1^st  

 

The Anoka County Good Samaritan's joint service project with Loaves & Fishes, Emma B. Howe YMCA, Coon Rapids Rotary and other groups has been re-scheduled for Saturday, June 1st.  

We hope that those who signed up can make the new date, since planting is way behind for many farmers and gardeners.

In observance of Memorial Day, our weekly meeting will be canceled.  We'll resume on June 3rd.

 

 

There are other opportunities to serve in a leadership and/or organizational capacity in the year ahead.  The Weekly Bulletin editor, greeter and programming duties are open soon.  If you want to split those duties with someone else, that's a potential solution too.  We also could use help organizing service projects, as Erik Hegg transitions into the president's role.  Talk to Erik Hegg about these openings.
